Uni Orientation.

Orientation Day at university was yesterday. I don’t know why, but I put on an act sometimes, try to shove all the autism away to act “normal”. Just to get along with people. I realise I am not completely shy but still an introvert if that makes sense. Putting on the act probably makes me look weirder as well. It all served me right in the end - I got a nasty headache.

There are about 30 people in the class and we were told that the class would be separated next week to make two smaller classes. This suits me. I spoke a lot to two other people in the class who seated themselves at my table (they both want to do nursing after this course), so it seems I won’t be totally alone.

We all got our student cards “as of now, you are all officially university students” :: shivers ::   Words also said: “lectures”, “readings” and “tutorials”.

We also got “freebies”, a bag (which I will not use as it is too flimsy and big for me), a folder and page dividers, a pen (which doesn’t work!), a highlighter and an exercise book to write in.

I am looking forward to classes officially starting at the middle of next week. :)
