Autism/Turkeys Speaks

Did you know that 1 out of every 150 domesticated birds will be a turkey? Support Turkeys Speak, donate money, organize walks, help us support research to cure turkeys, so that they can be the chickens they were meant to be.

CURE TURKEYS NOW!

Autism Falling Fowl

They gave MMR to a turkey
And then said he got ASD
So they set up a committee to help him
And charged him a whopping great fee

They said his behaviour’s non-verbal
His clucks and his gobbles were tics
He goes into a flap when ruffled
And scratches and pecks you and kicks

They said that this bird shouldn’t suffer
So a cure they said they must seek
So they set up a foundation to fight him
And still named the trust “Turkey Speaks”

You ought to hear what a 13 year old boy with Asperger Syndrome has to say about Autism Speaks. At the end of the free July 2008 audio podcast entitled “Special Feature Interview with Douglas Giesel and An Update Interview with Lewis Schofield” which can be downloaded for free at http://www.mic.mypodcast.com, he says something that is utterly hilarious.
