Going to see Wendy Lawson!
Wendy Lawson is an autistic author and she’s pretty well known in Australia. I read her book long ago and have since forgotten what exactly it was about due to ECT.
Wendy is coming to Perth and we members of the DSC (Disability Services Comission) have been invited to hear her speak about her life and other autism issues. I am looking forward to going!
So I am hoping she will have copies of her books with her so I can buy one. I would maybe like to speak to her but I heard that there will be many people there, mostly parents, so I will be happy just to hear what she has to say.
Another thing, she wears Irlen lenses as well, just like I do!
